Kate using personal shoppers to buy her outfits

Kate Middleton has taken to using personal shoppers to assemble her wardrobe ahead of her first overseas tour with Prince William.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 29, has been employing the services of two personal shoppers at Selfridges and Harvey Nichols to buy mainly British outfits for her 11-day trip to Canada and California next week.

Experts said that the Duchess's decision to use the service rather than a stylist reflected her confidence in her own ability to choose her look.

"It's the way most members of the Royal Family tend to do their shopping," the Daily Express quoted a senior Buckingham Palace official as saying.
