British Schools Enact No-Pajama Policy - for Parents

If you thought your mom's wardrobe choices were embarrassing, just be happy she didn't wear pajamas at your school.

Apparently, parents in Middlesbrough, England not only drop off and pick up their students while wearing pjs, but they even attend teacher meetings in their night clothes, the U.K.'s Evening Gazette reports.

According to the newspaper, officials at 11 schools have asked parents to respect a decency policy and leave the pjs at home.

Letters sent home seem to be working, the Gazette reports.

"Parents have respected our wishes and responded appropriately," Headteacher Chris Wain tells the newspaper.

Plus, there's always the wrath of other parents.

"It's absolutely ridiculous," mom Terri Llewellyn-Quinn tells the Gazette. "How long does it take to throw a pair of jeans on? I think you are asking for ridicule for your children if you can't be bothered getting dressed."

Credit: Getty Breast-feeding may be a healthy and economical way to feed and bond with your baby, but it also can be a real pain -- literally -- for some moms who are still cramping and sore from mega hours of labor and C-sections, not to mention the whole nipple pinching thing. But now there's good news on the lactating front: Apparently, it's safe to pop a few Vicodin while you're breast-feeding. The strong painkiller hydrocodone , better known as Vicodin, may be safe in smaller doses for women nursing newborns, U.S. researchers tell Reuters .
