He heard "I am sick of my life. I have no purpose to live" and then a gunshot. The detective instantly knew it was murder, not suicide, how?

Many of the pieces were designed by Taylor herself, in partnership with her favoured jewellery, Cartier. Some were gifts from her seven husbands, some from wealthy admirer, and many of her gems have great historic value.
