LONDON, April 29 Food bloggers from the US, UK and Canada have stripped down to their skivvies, covering their man and lady bits with strategically placed food and kitchen items like live poultry and baked goods all in the name of charity.The Nudie Foodies is food porn come to life: 18 sexy, semi-naked bloggers led by Salty Seattle or Linda Miller Nicholson Peel for Japan take off their clothes and don instead their best pouts in an attempt to raise money for Japan after the 9.0-magnitude earthquake struck the country March 11.The photos will be bound in a cookbook, along with a collection of recipes. All the proceeds will go to a charity which has yet to be determined.The idea to create a nudie cookbook sprang, Nicholson said, after channelling the spirit of another woman who regularly dons food items on her body.I asked myself, what would Lady Gaga do? The answer revealed itself. Get naked, Nicholson explained on the site.Last year, Lady Gaga wore a dress made from slabs of meat at the MTV Music Video Awards.Participating nudie bloggers include Jackie Lee from the UK, also known as I Am A Feeder, who covers up with a few well-placed, rudimentary signs and a pair of red heels.Yummy Mummy blogger Kim Foster from New York also strips down in the name of charity, with the exception of a live chicken held up against her chest.The Canadian Nudie Foodie is Ethan Adeland, of London, Ontario, who pens the blog Tastesbetterwithfriends.The book is set to be released in spring 2011, and the price has yet to be announced.
