How to play: Players start with an empty grid of dots and take turns adding single horizontal or vertical lines between two unjoined adjacent dots. If a player draws the fourth side of an enclosed box, that player receives a point and another turn. The game continues until no more lines can be drawn.
The rules: The game board can be any size, but 2-inch by 2-inch boxes created by a square of nine dots are good for beginners.
How to win: Be the player with the most points at the end of the game.
What else you need to know: You can make your own dot grid paper, or you can download free dot grid paper at Incompetech.
