Theres no better way to wrap up a season of London Fashion Week than by rubbing shoulders with the business biggest names and thats exactly what Samantha Cameron did last night.

She hosted a reception in honour of fashion week at 10 Downing Street, which had Anna Wintour, Tom Ford and Sir Philip Green in attendance.

And SamCam didnt disappoint her stylish guest list, by greeting them in a classic floor-length Jonathan Saunders gown that was classically understated with sheer sleeves.

Inside 10 Downing Street, fashionistas were crammed in shoulder to shoulder, where they sipped on Champagne and caught up on their favourite shows.

But in-between hobnobbing with high society, SamCam took time out to pose for a photo call with the chairman of the British Fashion Council, Harold Tilman.

She was also joined by Anya Hindmarsh, Christopher Bailey and Stephen Jones after having spent the week admiring the designers shows.

Adding a bit of glamour to the event was model and socialite Poppy Delevigne, whose mother is the head of personal shopping at Selfridges.

While Anna Wintour was accompanied by her stylish daughter Bee Shaffer, who looked as if shed walked straight off one of the fashion pages of her mothers Vogue magazine editions.

British model Erin OConnor, 33, looked striking in a floor-length tie-dyed gown, while sporting her famous jet-black bob hairdo.

Fellow English model Jacquetta Wheeler opted for warmth when choosing her outfit, by arriving in a long-sleeved dress and winter tights.

And Resident Evil: Degeneration actress Laura Bailey also appeared to have chosen her outfit off the Autumn/Winter rack, by showcasing a long pristine white frock.

Heather Kerzner impressed with her classically chic ensemble and giggled as she strolled into SamCams bash with Stuart Rose.

While speaking at her reception, David Camerons wife congratulated the designers shows she had seen before the guests were offered canap trays and Champagne.

Speeches were made in the lemon drawing room, where Topshops Philip Green chatted to Marks & Spencers chief executive Marc Bolland.

And former executive chairman of M&S told the Telegraph at the party: This is the centre of power in this country and everyone loves going where the power is.

Red magazines editor Sam Baker added: I love how happy everyone is ! to be he re. Designers who can seem quite intimidating are very human in this context.

And after visiting Downing Street, the editor later wrote on Twitter: Everyone tries to get you to steal some loo paper. You have to explain that they get their loo paper the same place as the rest of us do.

During London Fashion Week SamCam has enjoyed shows from the front row such as Burberry, Peter Pilotto and Erdems spring/summer collection to name a few.
